The ghost light has had different meanings over time, both practical and superstitious. But since the Covid-19 shutdown began, the ghost light has taken on a new meaning: a symbol of hope for the return of live theatre.

 

Ghostlight is a hub designed to enhance the experience of viewing theatre from home while many theatres are still dark. The goal of this website is to consolidate resources related to theatre viewing at home, while also introducing new ideas for experiencing theatre in new ways from home.
